Valve “wants to keep exploring Half-Life going forward” - choyasted1975
Half-Life: Alyx is here, and while IT's a meaty new entree in the series that adds a lot to the Half-Life story, information technology is not Uncomplete-Life 3. But in the weeks leading up to Alyx's launch, Valve has offered fresh hope that the Half life macrocos will cover, and that blood hasn't metamorphic. In our Valve interview, the developers suppose there's a renewed sense of exhilaration around Half-Biography in the studio's halls.
"The maven, shipping this, is that IT's – possibly shouldn't be a big surprise – but it's unbelievably fun to process Half life," architect Chris Remo tells America. Helium says that "there's a really ironlike sense that this is a great world to be practical in. I father't think there are same many people at Valve who wouldn't want to hold back exploring that going forward."
"I personally want to keep exploring that going forward," programmer Kerry Miles Davis adds with a laugh. "I started at Valve the summer that Half life 2 shipped. I came in at the very end of that process, and I got to see the result of the work, but wasn't at that place as a part of the go. Then through the episodes, I got a taste of what IT's care to create a Half life secret plan, and it is extremely fun and exciting. But there's also a lot of responsibility that you feel while you're doing information technology, to live adequate to the franchise.
"With Half life: Alyx, it was interesting to occur into this unweathered project from the beginning and enrol back into that space later on such a age out. It gets those creative juices flowing again and it's been really tingling."
